Best Tourist Attraction Ever

I thought I'd start this blog with the number one attraction that I'm most excited to see (ok, slight exaggeration):

Ah yeah. Good stuff.

That's a photo of Carhenge, located in the middle of freaking nowhere, Nebraska. Actually, there's a chance we might not actually visit because it's like 70 miles out of the way. But, in my mind, it'd be damn shame to miss the thing, which has got to be the ultimate symbol of everything that's great and awful about America.

In case you can't tell from the photo (and the name), Carhenge is a replica of Stonehenge made entirely out of junked cars spray painted gray. You can't beat that.

According to Carhenge's caretaker, only about 40% of the people who come to Carhenge even know about Stonehenge. Apparently, their comments box has a bunch of comments like "What the hell is this?"

God bless America.

This? Makes me jealous. I have never even heard of Carhenge before you mentioned it, but now I feel it should be a life goal to make it there. 70 miles is just a blip on the cross-country radar...
